I started private sessions with Allison at a time where I was going through some significant health issues. I was having to restructure my entire lifestyle and especially the way I handled stress, tension and fear. Over 12 weeks- I noticed physical changes... I'm constantly 'making space' in my body while doing day to day activities and this has helped with my breathing, my back, and my neck. Emotionally and spiritually, my spirit is much calmer. Being able to take my 1 on 1 sessions with Allison and what I've learned and then apply it to my daily life is huge. My whole life I have struggled with major cystic acne and in the past 3-4 months my cystic acne has been completely pacified. I enjoy Allison's ability to explain the proper way to get into the pose and which muscle groups need to be engaged. I am recovering from a broken ankle, and Allison makes sure to provide movement for me that will not hurt my ankle, but actually helps strengthen the bones and muscles. I started taking Allison’s yoga classes and they have been so amazing! I’m definitely a beginner when it comes to yoga, so I was nervous going into the classes. But Allison does a great job walking you through the poses and details what to do so clearly that I don’t even have to look up/check to see what she’s doing! She also does a great job at offering modifications for all poses for people with injuries or who want an easier option. It’s been four weeks and I already feel more flexible, more strong, and more present in my body. Every class is different, challenging, and rewarding. I started taking Allison’s yoga class to add as a part of my routine during quarantine, and it’s made such an impact in my life! I have not practiced in a few years and for the first time in many years, I feel present in my own body. It’s a flow that surprisingly gives you quite the workout! It’s tough, but good, and much needed. She has you in poses that are not your usual chill yoga poses, but such interesting poses myself and my roommate have not done before that make you stretch and tone parts of your body you were unaware of. I’m also practically falling asleep by the end because it’s so peaceful. I LOVE IT! I look forward to it every class!!! My body is thankful. | R/H
